NaNoWriMo 2011

Starting tomorrow and for the next 30 days, I will:

  • try to remain just as productive at my full-time job
  • train for my second half-marathon, run said half-marathon and finish it injury-free
  • spend time on a pacific island and try to enjoy it as much as possible
  • maintain some sort of social life
  • write a 50,000 word novel (or 1666 words per day, to be more precise)
So apologies in advance if you say good morning to me and I respond by threatening to hit you in the face with whatever I happen to be holdingl. As you can see, it’ll be totally justified.

  1. Hi thank you for leaving a comment on my blog and for offering to add me to your blogroll? Don’t see it though? Did you forget? πŸ™‚

    • Hey Tony,
Thanks for pointing that out. It was there when I added it but then I made changes to the sidebar and it somehow disappeared (along with a couple of other things). Back now. πŸ™‚ Hope training is going well!

  2. Saw that you dropped by my blog and thought I’d come check yours out. I can safely say I’ll be living vicariously through your travels and learning…I was a journalism major myself and while I’m in an affiliated field, mine is a fairly mundane job. My son and baking are my passion (hence, my blog about sweets!). I’m also getting ready to start training for my first half marathon – mostly for stress relief and to lose the baby weight (although I’m not sure I can still blame the baby when he’s almost 2 years old)…could be all the cookies I’m baking. At any rate, I’ll be checking in again to see how your half marathon goes – good luck!
